Taiwan has long been a vital design and manufacturing leader for the global Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industry. The island’s consumer electronics products embody great value and innovation, and cutting edge design. Taiwan is the world’s largest chipmaker, responsible for close to a quarter of the world’s semiconductor chip production. Taiwanese-based companies are responsible for about three quarters of the world’s PCs, a third of the world’s liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and twenty percent of mobile phones sold worldwide.
For the first time, the Taiwan Excellence will showcase the top performing innovators of 2016-17 at CeBIT on 23 May 2017. Media are invited to hear from specialist developers and makers of voice activated robot personal assistants, gaming gears, smart office and home, education devices and liquid-cooled open frame tempered glass PC cases.
“Taiwan has been a major industrial powerhouse and technological innovator and it is our intention to continue to lead global development of information technology,” says Andrew Liu, Manager of TAITRA Taipei, ambassador for the Taiwan Excellence Award.
Taiwan’s high-tech products span various sectors and have won the trust and praise from users around the world and this year, for the first time, the Taiwan Excellence will showcase the top performing innovators of 2016-17 at CeBIT.
The Taiwan Excellence winners are awarded based on the country’s finest research and development, design, quality and marketing. Our connection to innovative value and its real world application is evident amongst these award winners – I look forward sharing our award winners from start-up phase through to established ICT, lifestyle transport products and other products from various industries.,” says Mr Liu.
Mr Liu will lead the showcase sharing the products with innovative value from the Taiwan’s outstanding performers including Asus, Delta, Edimax, IEI, In Win and Thermaltake. Expert Panelists include:
Lorin McDowell, Marketing Director and Victor Ngan, senior product manager of ASUS, one of the world’s top five PC and notebook manufacturers, will showcase her company’s products and technologies, particularly the features of the ZenBook 3 Deluxe UX490 and PG348Q Gaming Monitor.
Delta Electronics, Inc.
David Bolt, Delta Australia --Industrial Automation Regional Manager, will the industry’s best in class, next generation variable speed drives. Delta Electronics will provide an outline of the M300 Micro Drive and CFP2000 HVAC.
Edimax Technology Co., Ltd.
Norman Hsu, Managing Director of Edimax Technology, specialists in wireless small business and home technology will share why they are the first choice, trusted networking partner.
IEI Integration Corp
Jasmine Cheng, IEI Sales Specialist will share details of the AfuBot, a voice command, robot-like companion device for NAS management, entertainment and live communication.
In Win Development Inc.
Katherine Tsai, Channel Sales Manager, will lift the lid on the perfection chasing, chassis developers, In Win. Katherine will share the latest highlights and innovations of PC case manufacturing
Thermaltake Technology Co., Ltd.
Thermaltake’s Nathanael Peacock, will provide details of innovative new wall-mounted liquid-cooled open frame tempered glass PC cases.
